Spotify is planning on launching its streaming music service in the Usa with no having contracted the 4 major record labels, as stress creates that could push the European start-up to seek fresh funds.
Spotify's board of directors sees a successful Usa launch as important to the corporation's success. Daniel Ek, Spotify's chief executive and co-founder, had initially pledged to provide the unlimited music service to the United states of america in 2009, then publicly set a deadline for the end of the year 2010.
